Join an intensive international Summer School in the historic city of Oxford, developed in collaboration between the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften and the renowned UK-based think tank Green Economics Institute.
Over five days, you will engage with some of the most pressing challenges shaping the future of sustainability, combining academic depth with interactive and practice-oriented learning.
What to Expect
A carefully designed academic program addressing key topics such as Green Finance, Green Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Diplomacy in the context of the United Nations, Finance for Development, Governance, and Ethics.
All sessions will be conducted in English and take place in both morning and afternoon formats, creating an immersive and intellectually engaging experience.

Fees and bookings:
The participation fee is 1,000 GBP, covering the full academic program.

Terms and Conditions –Important Information for Participants
1. Summer School Dates:
Monday, 24 August – Friday, 28 August 2026
2. Organizer and Contractual Partner
The Summer School is organized by the Green Economics Institute, which is the sole contractual partner for all participants.
Although the academic content and thematic design of the program have been developed in cooperation with the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft and students of this university receive ECTS recognition for their participation, which can be credited as an elective, no contractual relationship exists between participants and the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft.
3. Registration and Participation
Your place in the Summer School is confirmed once registration is completed and the participation fee has been paid in full. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
Participation Fee
The participation fee covers the academic program of the Summer School only. Accommodation, meals, travel, and any other personal expenses are not included and must be arranged and covered by participants themselves
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Participation fees will only be refunded if the Summer School is cancelled by the organizer. No refunds can be provided if a participant cancels, withdraws, or does not attend, regardless of the reason.
5. Changes to the Program
The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program, schedule, or speakers if necessary. However, an appropriate academic program is guaranteed to be provided on all scheduled dates.
6. Liability
Participation in the Summer School is at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law.
7. Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own health, travel, and accident insurance. The organizer does not provide these insurance coverages and requires all participants to take these out prior to travel.
8. Data Sharing
By registering for the Summer School, participants agree that their personal data may be collected and used for organizational and communication purposes related to the event.
This data may be shared between the Green Economics Institute and the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft for purposes connected to the planning, delivery, and follow-up of the Summer School.
