Learning Objectives. How this Summer Program Can Boost Your Learning
This summer school seeks to promote academically motivated students by strengthening their methodological understanding in linking theory and experiments. They convey the excitement of new progress in Green economics through the stimulus of learning. The objectives are to train and attract graduate students interested by working at the interfaces between disciplines.
Bringing together people from all over the world, this 3 day Summer School is an exciting opportunity to enrich your curriculum. Courses and tutorials are designed and taught by highly regarded scholars.
This summer school program comprises intensive activities which aim to provide attendees with an introduction to both the theoretical foundations and the practical applications of some of the Green economics thinking and aplications. Each subject has theoretical and practical classes.
Goals and objectives
- Familiarize students with Green Economics concepts, methods and literature.
- Assist students in their personal development of skills including and professional strategies.
- Teach writing and communication skills to prepare students for the gig economy challenges.
- Enhance critical thinking skills through self-exploration and class experiences.
- Gain leadership skills through classroom activities, discussions, and cultural experiences.
Students are expected to be familiar with the core concepts of the summer programme
Certificates
The students will receive a certificate after accomplishing 80 % of the summer school activities
We are currently offering 12 places and each one costs £350 per student per place. We will give priority to anyone also attending the main conference
on the three preceeding days, if the summer school gets fully booked. (We also have a research day which is now almost full so please dont delay in enquiring about the summer school – we will be pleased to hear from you)
The fees do not include food, travel or subsistence or accomodation, we can however advise everyone about these aspects.
